Christmas Cards Continued

Here's another card I made. I cut the postage stamp looking card from the Cricut®Art Philosophy Collection.
I messed up on the "Merry Christmas" stamp so I had to embellish the card by stamping "Merry Christmas" on another piece of paper and cutting it out. Then I added a piece of foam tape to give it some dimension.

Not sure if you can tell but I added some silver Stickles to the snowflakes to give them some BLINGY BLING!

Starting Christmas cards!!

I started making my Christmas cards over the weekend. I didn't stay with one design. I'm still trying to decide what I want to do for this year. I'll probably end up with 4 sets of 7 different designs. I guess that wouldn't be too bad...give me some variety. I still need to go through my address list to get a count of how many cards I will need. But for now, this is the first design I made.
I cut the postage stamp card from the Cricut® Art Philosophy Collection.

I love the vintage look of this Santa from the St. Nick stamp set.
I used the CTMH watercolor pencils to color in Santa and the holly and berries.

I'll add the other cards that I created throughout the week so make sure to stop by again.

Inspired Creativity

I went to a Close To My Heart retreat a couple of months ago hosted by my now upline, Jessie Brophy.  It inspired me to be more creative with my scrapbooking. Seeing the new ideas and different ways to incorporate my crafting needs and desires into my pages, is what got me to be excited about scrapbooking again. I realized I don’t have to wait to “get caught up” to start scrapbooking and journaling about the exciting stuff that’s going on in my family’s life now. No more slap it down and get the pictures in the album mentality. I'm going to start adding some creativity to my albums. And with that I also decided to be a Close To My Heart independent consultant. There approach and ideas were different from what I've been doing but feel they meet my creativiti-ness (see my creativity is already coming out) more.
